Netscan started trading in 1998. It was established by Jeremy Lewis as one of the web hosting and domain name registration businesses in the UK, based in the Wirral in Cheshire.

At the end of 2008, after ten years of operation the company was moved to offices in London.

Netscan is a limited company with its registered office in Old Street, London.

Netscan provides support to its customers. Unlike many other hosting businesses a 0800 toll-free number is provided to customers who may call and make use of qualified support staff to resolve any support issues.

No separate charge is made for support services, as a result Netscan has established a reputation as a leading hosting company to the corporate sector in the UK by providing a reliable hosting service to those businesses that rely heavily on internet traffic.
